Curious Creators • Ages 6-8
Dance, Theatre, Art, and Music Classes for Children Ages 6-8 in Putnam, Connecticut.
Creative Explorers are strengthening their artistic foundations while becoming more independent, expressive, and technically confident. Through dance, theatre, music, and creative arts, students refine their skills, collaborate with others, solve creative challenges, and begin developing their own artistic voice in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Dance
Students build coordination, musicality, body awareness, and confidence while exploring ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop, and acro through age-appropriate technique, creative movement, and performance experiences.
Theatre
Students develop imagination, storytelling, collaboration, and stage confidence through theatre games, improvisation, character work, movement, voice, and introductory performance techniques.
Creative Arts
Students experiment with drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, design, and collaborative projects while strengthening creativity, problem-solving, observation, and artistic expression.
Music
Private lessons nurture musicianship through individualized instruction in voice and a variety of instruments. Students build technical skills, musical expression, performance confidence, and music literacy at their own pace.

Throughout the year, Curious Creators celebrate their learning through:

These performances are designed to celebrate growth, creativity, and artistic development while providing age-appropriate opportunities to share work with family and friends.
Additional Performance Opportunities
Curious Creators may also audition for select theatrical productions and special performance projects when age appropriate. These opportunities are optional and designed for students who are interested in exploring additional performance experiences.
