Creative Explorers • Ages 8-10
Dance, Theatre, Art, and Music Classes for Children Ages 8-10 in Putnam, Connecticut.
This program is ideal for students who are ready to follow multi-step instruction, explore new artistic challenges, build friendships, and develop confidence through consistent creative practice.
As students enter the Creative Explorers stage, they begin building greater independence, technical skill, and artistic confidence. Through dance, theatre, music, and creative arts, they collaborate more intentionally, solve creative challenges, and discover new ways to express themselves. Each class encourages curiosity while providing the structure students need to grow as artists.
Dance
Students deepen their technical training in ballet, modern, jazz, tap, hip hop, and acro while developing strength, flexibility, musicality, body alignment, performance quality, and artistic expression through increasingly challenging movement experiences.
Theatre
Students expand their acting skills through character development, improvisation, scene work, voice, movement, storytelling, and ensemble collaboration while building confidence, stage presence, and creative communication.
Creative Arts
Students explore drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media, design, and collaborative projects while strengthening technical skills, creative problem-solving, observation, craftsmanship, and personal artistic expression.
